Origins of Sincerely Vegetarian
The founder of Sincerely Vegetarian – Mr. Tan Kee Peiw has been a vegetarian for half a century. Prior to 1970, vegetarian food was uncommon and not highly advocated - it was scarce and its flavour bland. Despite this, Mr. Tan founded Sincerely Vegetarian Food Supplier Sdn. Bhd. to promote egetarian cuisine, develop delectable vegetarian food, and provide vegetarians peace of mind with healthier choices. These three notions thus became the underlying mission of his enterprise.
The second-generation successor: Mr. Tan Chee Hian graduated from Huaqiao University in Fujian Province, China, majoring in Food Chemistry. During his study, as he explored the many differences between meat and vegetarian food, he realized that vegetarian food is in grave need of keeping up with the times. He actively conducted in-depth market research and constantly improved the science and technology of Sincerely Vegetarian’s manufacturing methods to enhance its produce. From the selection of raw materials to production, cooking, environmental sanitation, and food packaging, modern technology is used to uphold strict standards. Moreover, all ingredients are free from any kind of preservatives to ensure Sincerely Vegetarian is in compliance with World Food Safety Organization standard.
